Our Injection Molded HDPE Stub End, also known as a stub flange or flange adapter, is a critical component for creating detachable flanged connections within a polyethylene piping system. Manufactured from premium PE100 resin through a high-precision injection molding process, these stub ends offer superior dimensional accuracy, a flawless surface finish, and enhanced structural integrity compared to fabricated alternatives. They are designed to be butt-fused directly onto HDPE pipes, forming a permanent, leak-proof joint. When paired with a steel or plastic backing ring (loose flange), they allow for easy alignment and connection to flanged valves, pumps, or other equipment. Available Types / Connection Methods

This is a “short” type stub end designed for butt fusion welding. It is used in combination with a loose backing flange (e.g., DIN 2576, EN 1092-1) to create a flanged joint.
